The Smashing Pumpkins have sued Virgin label, because the advertisement, Pepsi

Famous American band The Smashing Pumpkins filed a lawsuit against record company, Virgin Records, reports AP. Musicians accuse the company of violating the conditions of contract and illegally using the group’s name and her music in promotions.

The conflict began an advertising campaign “Pepsi-Staff” at Amazon.com, in which the music sounds the group. According to the musicians, participate in the advertising Pepsi undermines the collective reputation among his fans.

Label “Virgin” publishes music The Smashing Pumpkins for 17 years, but the lawsuit states that the company has just the right songs spread over the Internet.
